The Silent Inverter Pool Heat Pump Will Be the Trend in 2022
In 2020, the CUBIC marketing team discovered that end-users have always been annoyed by the noise of pool filtration systems and swimming pool heating equipment. In particular when the pool water has warmed up and the pool heater continues to run to maintain the desired water temperature. The backyard environment should be a place of relaxation and equipment pad noise not only affects the pool owners but the surrounding neighbors as well.
The CUBIC research team took on the challenge of designing & manufacturing the quietest heat pump possible. This was the beginning of our silent inverter heat pump technology.
In early 2020, we completely upgraded our “inver-CORE” technology. We redesigned the inner structure such that both noises are reduced and the air volume has increased providing a more efficient and quieter running heat pump!

“inver-CORE” Technology
In 2016, CUBIC swimming pool heat pumps started utilizing the twin inverter rotary DC compressor and DC brushless fan motor which collectively work together through our intelligent control system. This combination greatly improves the energy efficiency of the swimming pool heat pump. As a direct result, the noise of the twin-rotary DC compressor is significantly less than the conventional compressor. The twin inverter rotary DC compressor utilizes two cylinders instead of one thus balancing the compressor and reducing the noise due to vibration!
“inver-CORE Silence” Patented Technology
In 2020, we upgraded the “inver-CORE” technology. We redesigned the configuration of the air duct and fan to reduce low-frequency noise caused by both the airflow and the fan. This was a difficult engineering process with countless hours spent by our design team but through their efforts, the perfect solution was found! Their efforts were rewarded with a successful design and a patent was issued in 2021.

Centrifugal Fan
- The speed of the centrifugal fan runs at half the speed of a conventional heat pump fan.
- The centrifugal fan reduces the wind noise caused by a traditional fan blade running.

- The “Air Blow” duct design allows the airflow to be released fast and without resistance.
- The “Air Blow” Duct design increases the efficiency of the air energy exchange.
